The Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Test

Does your dog jump up on people, does he sit, does he pull you on the leash or bark excessively? If  you answered YES, maybe it’s time for your dog to take the “Canine Good Citizen Test.”  This program was developed by the American Kennel Club “to teach responsible dog ownership and to certify that dogs have been trained to be well-behaved in the home, in public places, and in the presence of other dogs. The CGC test has become a national benchmark for well-trained dogs. In addition to teaching your dog to be a model canine citizen, CGC training provides good foundation training for other fun canine activities—Obedience, Rally, and Agility.” It is open for pure breed dogs and mixed breed dogs. The class is $10 per dog.  The next class will be:
