Wildlife Rescue League

It's Rescue Monday!

The Wildlife rescue league is a non-profit all-volunteer organization that provides care for sick, injured and orphaned wildlife with the intention of eventually returning them to the wild. The WRL-licensed rehabilitators, located in Northern VA and MD, work with animal shelters, humane societies, wildlife groups, nature centers, and veterinary hospitals to assist animals in need.

Committed to educating people about wildlife rescue, WRL provides brochures and educational materials, as well as educational programs for those wanting to learn more about wildlife rescue.

They also have a hotline to help people get to locate a wildlife rehabilitator to assist an animal in need.

If you find a wild animal in need of help, contact the WRL hotline at 703-440-0800. Please visit the website at www.wildliferescueleague.org to learn more about this organization.
