It’s Green Tuesday!

Here’s another tip for you pet owners out there.  Experts advise that it is best to keep all cats indoors.  There are a couple of reasons for this.  One, cats outdoors do quite a bit of damage to the bird population in the surrounding areas.  Two, according to the Humane Society of America, cats who live indoors have a  much longer lifespan.  Cats who live outdoors can be hit by cars, caught in environmental hazards, and be hurt or killed by predators.  The average lifespan of an indoor kitty is about 17 years while an outdoor cat has an average of less than 5 years.  That should be reason enough to make sure you keep the door closed to Fluffy.
