Metropolitan Guinea Pig Rescue

It's Rescue Monday!Over the holidays, I went to see the movie Bedtime Stories starring Adam Sandler (great movie!) which also featured an adorable and hilarious (albeit computer generated) Guinea Pig named Bugsy. The kids in the movie really love their pet and take great care of him.People often forget that it is not just the larger, more prominant animals that need rescuing. Unfortunately, many people purchase small animals or "pocket pets" for their children without researching the care required by the animal. many of these animals are given away or simply disposed of. But the lucky ones are turned over to a rescue group.Metropolitan Guinea Pig Rescue (MGPR) is an all volunteer, non-profit organization dedicated to helping homeless Guinea Pigs find forever homes.
