Friends of Homeless Animals
It's Rescue Monday!
Friends of Homeless Animals (FoHA) is a non-profit, no-kill shelter for homeless cats and dogs. While located in Northern Virginia, they provide medical care, rescue, rehabilitation and adoption services to Northern VA and the Washington Metro area.
The FoHA shelter can accommodate over 100 dogs and up to 30 cats, while housing many more in volunteer foster homes. This is the only no-kill shelter of this size in the area.
Friends of Homeless Animals strives to:
Bring an end to the unnecessary killing of companion animals
Provide a safe haven for abused and abandoned animals
Provide food, shelter, medical care, rehabilitation, and compassion to homeless animals
Find permanent, loving homes for the animals in our care
And most importantly, bring about a time when there will be no more homeless pets and every dog and cat can be guaranteed a loving home
