Shirlington Dog Park - This dog park shares a border with Four Mile Run in Arlington. Unlike most dog parks in the area the park itself is rather long and narrow, more like a walking path. There's still plenty of room for dogs to run around in the safe fenced in lot. What makes this park nice is that it has access to the stream. Just make sure your dog has a good recall as the other side of the stream is not fenced in. It can get crowded during the hot summer months so pay attention to your dog. Not all dogs love crowds. Can you blame them? NVRPA: Take you best friend to your favorite NVRPA waterpark for a dip in one of our fantastic pools!
