Pet Cancer Awareness Month
Did you know that one in four dogs die of cancer?
It's the number one disease-related death in pets, and cancer accounts for almost half of the deaths of pets over 10 years of age.
With advances in pet medicine and research, more and more animals are being treated and surviving cancer. If found early, most of these cancers can be cured with surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, or a combination of the three, and early diagnosis will aid your veterinarian in delivering the best care possible.
