It's Rescue Monday!

Yesterday's NASCAR race in Miami was the finale of the 2008 season. In the off-season, Greg Biffle, driver of the #16 Ford Fusion owned by Rousch Racing, works to improve the lives of animals.

The Greg Biffle Foundation for Animals was founded in 2005 by Greg and Nicole Biffle to create awareness and serve as an advocate to improve the well-being of animals by engaging the power and passion of the motorsports industry. The foundation donates to Humane Societies, no-kill animal shelters, and spay and neuter clinics.

One of the coolest ways to help the animals is to purchase a NASCAR Pets Calendar which features pictures of NASCAR drivers and their pets. Past participants have included Tony Stewart, Matt Kenseth, Virginia native Jeff Burton, Jamie McMurray, Kyle Petty, Kurt and Kyle Busch, Kasey Kahne, and Dale Earnhardt, Jr.
