Springfield Days is an annual event that features many fun and entertaining activities. The event will be May 30, 2015 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. at South Run Park in Springfield, VA, right behind South Run RECenter. PetFest focuses on fun and celebrating the joy pets bring to our lives. It showcases local businesses and vendors, artists, activities, on-stage entertainment and animal rescue organizations. You won’t want to miss the “Blessing of the Pets” and a “Paws on Parade.”
If your pup needs to cool off, let him take a splash in the doggie pools. Then enjoy the on-stage entertainment by Mutts Gone Nuts Comedy Show, get a free reading by the famous animal communicator, Diane Roadcap, or simply take in the activities while relaxing on a bench or a blanket while you sample some of the great food from the various food vendors that attend PetFest.
The event also focuses on adoption and rescue organizations that are at the event, in hopes that the animals they have rescued will, too, find their forever home and a loving family!
