We are devoted to our clients and provide pet care services 365 days per year, including all holidays. Our company holidays are New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. We do not schedule regular doggy walks on these days but we can provide service with adequate notice. Review our Events Calendar for more details.
Rates for holiday visits incur a surcharge of $10 for each visit performed on the actual holiday. We require a 50% non-refundable deposit two weeks prior to the onset of any holiday service. This includes any service scheduled over the week preceding or following the holiday.
As we are extremely busy during holiday periods, please submit your reservation requests as early as possible. We require a minimum of two weeks’ notice for all visits falling on a company holiday. If our schedule can accommodate a late reservation request, that visit will incur a $50 late reservation surcharge.
Special Needs/Special Services
We are committed to providing best care possible for your pets in your absence. In the event of any unusual circumstances, our trained Pet Care Professionals will use their best judgment on how to handle the situation. Our clients understand that Becky’s Pet Care acts in their best interests to the best of our ability. Our clients are responsible for payment of any such fees associated with unforeseeable circumstances.
Your Pet Care Professional will administer medication to your pet according to your instructions. Fees are as follows:
- Topical medication: No Charge
- Oral medication in food: No Charge
- Oral mediation without food: $3 per administration (Note: if your pet easily takes the meds, this fee may be waived.)
- Injections: $3 per injection
- Sub Q Fluids: $10 per administration
For your convenience, we will purchase any food or supplies you request or that are necessary while we are caring for your pet. We will invoice you for the cost of these supplies plus a $25 surcharge.
Our Pet Care Professionals are trained to recognize when a pet needs emergency care and act accordingly. We charge an emergency care fee of $50, plus an hourly charge for the PCP’s time spent at the vet’s office or clinic, plus the cost of the vet care if we must pay for it at the time of service. We will attempt to have the vet or animal hospital bill you directly.
If your Pet Care Professional cannot access your house to perform a scheduled and confirmed pet care visit, we will call a locksmith to gain entry. We will charge a locksmith fee of $125. This fee may increase on weekends or holidays. To avoid this fee, please be sure that:
- Your doors and locks are functioning properly
- You have provided us with the correct, working keys
- You have provided us with an emergency set of working keys, left in the lock box or left on file in our office.
