Praise Your Pet’s Good Behavior

It's Training Tip Tuesday!

Never, ever ignore good behavior! We are quick to correct our pet when he/she does something wrong, but we too often do not praise them when they are exhibiting the desired behavior.

Even if you did not give your pet a direct command, if he/she is displaying a behavior you would like to continue (i.e. not begging during dinner, laying quietly while you work on the computer, staying on the floor instead of trying to get on the couch while you are watching TV together).

PRAISE YOUR PET!
